1. About Kloset

Kloset is an online platform that connects individual buyers and sellers of preloved fashion items. Kloset operates as a marketplace facilitator only. We are not a retailer, agent, or party to any transaction between users.

2. No Involvement in Transactions

• Kloset is not a party to any buy or sell transaction conducted through the platform.
• Kloset does not hold, process, transfer, or have any involvement with funds or payments between users.
• All payments are agreed and made directly between buyers and sellers.
• Kloset does not guarantee payment, delivery, or the condition of any item listed on the platform.
• Kloset accepts no liability for any loss, damage, dispute, fraud, or failure arising from any transaction between users.

3. User Responsibilities

By using Kloset, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in all listings.
• Only list items that you own and have the right to sell.
• Not list counterfeit, stolen, prohibited, or illegal items.
• Honour transactions you agree to as a buyer or seller.
• Treat all other users with respect.
• Not engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful behaviour.
• Comply with all applicable UAE laws and regulations.

4. Prohibited Items

The following items must not be listed on Kloset:

• Counterfeit or fake branded goods
• Stolen items
• Items prohibited under UAE law
• Underwear or intimate items (for hygiene reasons)
• Any item that is not fashion, clothing, shoes, or accessories

5. Original Photographs

Sellers must upload original photographs of the actual item being sold. Stock images, brand website images or images not owned by the seller are prohibited. Listings using stock photos may be removed if reported.

6. Pricing and Transactions

All prices on Kloset are set by the seller and are final. Kloset does not permit price negotiation through the platform. Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for agreeing on payment method and completing payment. Kloset recommends that buyers only transfer payment once the seller has confirmed a delivery or collection arrangement.

7. Delivery and Collection

Delivery costs are calculated by distance and are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed between the parties. Sellers are responsible for accurately selecting and fulfilling their stated delivery options. Kloset is not responsible for any delivery failures, lost items, or disputes arising from delivery or collection arrangements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kloset and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

• Any transaction between users of the platform
• Non-delivery or late delivery of items
• Items that are not as described
• Fraud or misrepresentation by any user
• Loss of funds transferred between users
• Any dispute between a buyer and seller

9. Account Suspension and Termination

Kloset reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently ban any user account at any time, without notice, if we believe a user has violated these Terms and Conditions, engaged in fraudulent or harmful behaviour, or otherwise misused the platform. Users who accumulate three or more verified reports may be automatically suspended.

10. Intellectual Property

The Kloset brand, logo, name, and platform design are the intellectual property of Kloset. Users retain ownership of photos and content they upload, but grant Kloset a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform for the purpose of facilitating sales.

11. Privacy

Kloset collects and stores personal data including name, email address, phone number, and general location area for the purpose of operating the platform. We do not sell user data to third parties. By using Kloset you consent to this data being stored and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from use of the Kloset platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the UAE courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

Kloset reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via the app. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
